
Hello! Day 2 was another successful day. At the gym I had a very intense chest & back workout supplemented by abs & skipping rope. For the first sequence I did light dumbell presses followed by dumbell rows followed by bicycles, all performed at a high intensity. I did 4 sets and then moved on to the next sequence, which was dumbell flyes followed by assisted wide-grip pullups. I supplemented these sets with 30 seconds of skipping rope. I performed 3 sets of these and I was super sweaty & my heart was definitely pumping hard. I then moved on to the treadmill where I ran for 30 minutes. It started out a little choppy as I was experiencing cramping in my left calf, but I got off the tread, ran over to the water fountain and drank for about 30 seconds straight. This seemed to cure my problem as I was able to get back onto the tread & finish my workout. I will say that yesterday's tread workout wasn't as intense as Monday's, so I will have to step it up next time.
Justin has a leg workout planned for me today, so I'm really looking forward to it. I just need to remember to eat enough protein & stretch sufficiently so I'm not super sore for days to come.
Last night was yet another challenging night. While I am happy to report that Jess is feeling almost 100% (I think she had food poisoning Sunday night), Tyler was up from midnight until he finally fell asleep on my chest at 3AM. I am a little tired today but I'm not going to let it affect me in the gym or in front of my clients. Im off to Day 3 & I'll see you tomorrow!
