Phase I, Day13

Hello! Today is Saturday, another Dad Day. Ty & I went to Harvestime yesterday to get all the good foods for a healthy weekly menu. I soaked 3 bags of beans overnight and made 2 dishes: 1)chili & 2)bean soup. It was the first time for bean soup and it actually turned out better than I thought. I found a recipe online (where else?) and added some of my own twists & turned it into a pretty tasty & healthy meal. The chili is always good, mainly because of the good chili powder that I buy at Harvestime. My dad taught me a long time ago that the biggest secret to making excellent chili or Mexican food is buying the high quality chili powder with the large granules. There is a difference! Anyway, nothing much to report on the workout front, except that I am sore today. I love being sore.....

Still around the 206-207 lb. area, so I didn't seem to lose much weight since being sick earlier in the week, which is what I expected. I expect to get close to 200 pounds by the end of next week, week 3.
